Stanislav Issaev, a principal dancer with the Moscow Classical Ballet, demonstrates some finer points of the are during a master class on campus, November 11. Issaev, was in town for the Virginia Symphony program "Stars of the Bolshoi Ballet and Company."

Cornell Crabtree, who was guest artist for Old Dominion's 1993 production of the "The Nutcracker," had his gait checked in the College of Health Sciences' Motion Analysis Center last month. The reflective balls attached to his legs reflect light to four video cameras that record his movement from various angles. The video is then placed into a computer which measures specific joint angles throughout the gait cycle.
