Nina Sakhnovskaya of the Vagnova Institute, official school of the famed Kirov Ballet, brought her expertise to Norfolk recently as a guest teacher for the ODU Ballet's summer dance program. Classes were offered June 17 to July 12 for young and old, and for novices as well as experienced dancers. Ms. Sakhnovskaya is seen here turning attention to details, as she helps a young ballerina with the positioning of her hand.
