The Reverend Sue Lowcock Harris, campus Presbyterian minister, speaks at a prayer vigil for peace in the Persian Gulf, which was sponsored by the University Chaplains Association. The solemn ceremony included readings and prayers. Approximately 200 students, staff, and faculty attended the 15-minute program in front of Webb Center. Readings were given by (left to right): the Reverend William Davidson, campus Methodist minister; Judith Andre, Associate Professor of Philosophy; Hasan H. Erkaya, Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Faculty Advisor to the Muslim Students' Association; and the Reverend Robert Y. Sanford, campus Baptist chaplain.
