A new look as well as new fare greeted visitors to the Webb Center cafeteria. The changes were made by Aramark, which the university contracted with to operate dining services. The Midrise dining facility is also being refurbished, and the Webb Center food court will be home to Pizza hut, Taco Bell, and Freshens Yogurt, when the fall semester starts.

Rows of concrete pipes await the arrival of heavy machinery and a construction crew near Webb Center. Scheduled for completion in April 1993, the Webb Center project will add 90,000 square feet to the facility.

Webb Center will have a new look inside and out with the completion of an $11.45 million addition/renovation project, slated for completion in early summer 1993. The expansion will add 90,000 square feet to the building and 26, 000 square feet of existing space will be renovated. The "new and improved" Webb Center will feature a cafe and food court, as well as new meeting rooms and study areas. It will house about 75 percent of student services offices.

The expansion and renovation of Webb University Center is well underway.
