Folder 13: Academic Departments: History

The president of the History Club, Harry S. May (center), presents gifts to Dr. Warren F. Spencer, member of the History Department faculty of the Norfolk Division of College of William and Mary (on right), and Arthur Westcott, a history major student at the college (on left). Dr. Spencer has received a grant from the American Philosophical Society for study and research in England and France during the summer. Arthur Westcott has received a Fulbright Scholarship for study in Germany for the 1958-59 academic year.
