A ceremony naming a nature trail at Old Dominion's Blackwater Ecological Preserve in honor of Gisela A. Grimm was held on campus April 20 (no year given). Pictured here with Grimm, are Dr. Myron S. Henry (left), Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Gerald Levy, Professor of Biological Sciences. Grimm holds a degree in horticulture from Temple University. Following her retirement from a successful landscaping firm in Norfolk, Grimm took courses at Old Dominion and has since done volunteer work with the Biological Sciences Department. According to Dr. Lytton J. Musselman, professor of biological sciences, the 85 year old Grimm has been an inspiration to students and faculty alike.
