The kickoff for the Annual Fund was spearheaded by Chairwoman Deborah K. Stearns, a 1979 graduate of Old Dominion and regional manager for Rowe Development Corporation, talks with a supporter following a March 23 kick off breakfast for the 1989 campaign. A total of $245,896 was raised during a two-month advance campaign which targeted faculty, staff and members of the Alumni Association, Board of Directors, Board of Visitors and educational, intercollegiate and research foundations.
