Gwame Mizzelle grew up in Accomack County, Virginia and attended Virginia public schools in the 1980s. His mother, Eula Mizzelle, taught in the public schools during the years of school desegregation. Videotaped oral history interview with Gwame Mizzelle of Accomac, Virginia who discusses his family's involvement with school desegregation and civil rights. Conducted as part of the "School Desegregation: Learn, Preserve, Empower" event on the Eastern Shore, Virginia.
