Under the watchful gaze of Thea Musgrave, soprano Marina Levitt sings a selection from one of the local composer's operas during a program sponsored by the Friends of Women's Studies that took place February 9, 1989. Musgrave, and internationally acclaimed composer, spoke at the program of her musical work. A Norfolk resident, Musgrave received an Honorary Doctorate from Old Dominion in 1979.
