The international symposium "NATO at the Crossroads: Eyes on the Horizon" attracted 400 participants including 17 journalists from the foreign press corps, to campus April 11-12. Sponsored by Old Dominion and the Supreme Allied Commander, Atlantic, the symposium featured many panelists including Zbigniew Brzezinski, former U.S. national security adviser. Journalists from Germany, Denmark, the United Arab Emirates, the Paris-based International Herald Tribune and Itar-Tass, the Russian news agency, joined reporters from the local and regional media to cover the event.
