Whitehurst, Dr. Thomas Wallace presents Fumiharu Kawasaki, president of Kitakyushu City University, with a U.S. flag which had flown over the Capitol in Washington, D.C. Wallace, Vice-President for Academic Affairs was in Japan in May as an invited guest of Kitakyushu City University, to discuss future cooperative programs between the two schools.
