A luncheon honoring scholarship donors and recipients attracted 125 benefactors and students to the campus recently. Pictured are Randi Terry, a winner of the Clair Nesson Academic Honors Scholarship and the Caroline Heath Tunstall-Elizabeth Calvert Page Dabney Scholarship, and Dr. James V.D. Card, professor of English, who supports the Tunstall-Dabney award. Terry is a junior from Virginia Beach. The luncheon was sponsored by the Student Affairs Committee of the Alumni Association in cooperation with the offices of Alumni Relations, Development and Student Financial Aid.

The final, for those who so opted, consisted of a seven minute stand-up routine at the Norfolk Comedy Club, located in the Judges Chambers Restaurant. Members of the class performed their own material and Talbott served as master of ceremonies.
