Footage of preparations being made for the construction of a new Greyhound station on 701 Monticello Avenue in Downtown Norfolk. The older station located on Brambleton Avenue, built in 1942, is going to be demolished for the avenue's widening. The Monticello Avenue station opened in 1961 and like its predecessor on Brambleton, it is currently facing demolition to make way for a visual and culinary arts facility operated by Tidewater Community College. Greyhound plans to move its operations to the HRT Downtown Norfolk Transit Center located at 434 St. Paul's Boulevard. Footage has no sound. B-roll/outtake footage. 0:00:41

He was born January 28, 1915 in Knox County, Indiana and died in 1999. The interview discusses the development of the Physics Department, the Research Foundation, "Kaufman Mall," and Adams's many local civic activities.

Footage of the A. J. Legum Furniture Store and the Downtown Norfolk redevelopment surrounding it. The Greyhound bus station is also featured in the footage. Today, the furniture store is no longer standing and its land is now a park and gathering area for the NEON Arts District. The Greyhound station was demolished in 1961 to make way for the widening of Brambleton Avenue, and had to move to a new location on Monticello Avenue. Footage has no sound.
