Dr. Robert L. Stern, Professor Emeritus, served ODU from 1945-1978 as a faculty member in the History Department where he taught political science. Stern also served as President of the ODU and Virginia Chapters of the American Association of University Professors. He was born on December 10, 1912 and died February 2, 1987.
