Webb, Jr., Director of the College of W&M in Norfolk, left April 25, 1957 for a month's visit to Europe where he attended the International Rotary Club Convention. He will be President of the Norfolk Rotary Club next year. The students of the college met him at the train to give him a resounding send-off with banners, the band and loud cheers. Mary Nolley and Betty Burns hold the banner wishing Mr. Webb "Bon Voyage". Mr. Webb is shown with camera case and overcoat obviously enjoying his send-off."

The exercises will take place in front of the Administration Building at 7:00 P.M."
